What Happens in a Tajweed Class?

Every session follows a structured format designed to maximise your progress in a focused 45 to 60 minute live class.

Warm-Up Recitation (5 min)

Student recites a short passage from the previous lesson. Teacher listens for retained rules and identifies areas of focus for today.

Rule Introduction (10 min)

Teacher introduces the target rule using colour-coded Tajweed text on screen. Pronunciation points are explained and demonstrated with live audio.

Guided Practice (20 min)

Student recites selected verses applying the rule. Teacher corrects in real time — stopping, demonstrating, and repeating until the sound is correct.

Fluency Recitation (15 min)

Student reads a longer passage applying all previously learned rules. Teacher notes any recurring errors for the next session.

Homework Assignment (5 min)

Teacher assigns specific verses to practise before the next session. Progress notes are recorded so continuity is maintained across sessions.
